Polite staff and a comfortable bed made for a pleasant stay. The additional fan and bottled water were thoughtful touches on a hot day. the check-in experience was disorganized, and the meals fell short of expectations, notably the cold pies and missing fruit at breakfast. The evening atmosphere lacked energy, particularly at the New Year's party.

The cozy fireplace in the Standard Twin Room adds a nice touch for warming up after a chilly day. This place holds a certain historic charm that makes it unique and intriguing.
Unfortunately, the carpets throughout the hotel show signs of neglect, with visible dirt and lack of cleaning. I found the bathroom in disarray, with mold and previous guests' hairs still lingering, which is pretty off-putting. The shower pressure fluctuates alarmingly, making for an uncomfortable wash. the arrangement of the rooms left much to be desired, as ours was located in a separate building that felt remote and sparse. If you’re bringing a pet, that’s your only option, and it leaves much to be desired in terms of quality and comfort.

Charming character but needs upkeep
We stayed for 4 nights in a Superior Double Room. The old building has charm but quite frankly, it could use some love. Our room was okay but had funky decor and a few maintenance issues. At least the location was great and parking was easy. Had an alright meal in the bar, but wow, the toilets were a challenge if you're in a wheelchair. Not ideal!

I had a lovely stay where I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the historic building and the delicious breakfast each morning. The sun terrace was a fantastic spot to unwind, and I appreciated the charming garden area as well. A quick note, though—the room could've used a bit more attention to cleanliness, but overall, I had a great time! 😊

Friendly Staff and Historic Charm
I recently had a lovely stay in a Standard Double Room, where the historical charm of the building really stood out. The staff were warm and welcoming, making my experience enjoyable. The room, although cozy, could use some modernization to better match the hotel's character. Breakfast was decent, but I would appreciate more healthy options and a better selection of coffee.

The Standard Twin Room was nice and clean, really comfy beds which was a plus. It was quiet too, so we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious with both a bath and an over bath shower, which was great. Only downside was a slight issue with the room, but it got sorted quick. a cozy stay!
